Skinnarbu - Mogen - Lågaros - Mårbu - Stordalsbu - Mogen - Skinnarbu
Nice hike on the central part of Hardangervidda, including boat trip on both Møsvatn and Mår.
Day 1 (Monday).
Boat from Skinnarbu to Mogen 38 km, approx 1,5 hour, departure Skinnarbu 09.30 am

from where the boat moors and into Mogen varies from 800m - 3 km to go. This depends on the water level in Møsvatn.

Hike description:
"Throughout birch northwest of the lodge, something marshy. Over the stream from Hellegjuvet and along Berg creek and over this. Furthermore, up to a cabin in the south end of Gjuvsjåen. Just before the lodge takes it to an old T-trail westward to Sandhaug. So on the eastern side of Gjuvsjåen the northeast end of the lake. Here takes an unmarked trail of northeast toward Mårbu. It comes the trail Lågaros-Mårbu north of Kallungsjåen (path is not shown on the maps). Further to the northwest, west of Fisketjønnan and up col between Great Heller Tjønn Hovda and Vierhytthovdun and northwest over a hill to the cabin. Old Lågaros Lågen outlet from Bjornesfjorden, is about 3 km north of the cabin. "
Day 2 (Tuesday)

Hike description:
"To the east north of Tangetjønnan, over Viuvasshovdin and down to Viuvatnet. Expiration Pelvic intersected in the outlet. Northeast Over along the north side of Viuvatnet, north of height in 1367 and 1403 and down to Hetteåe. Sommerbru over to the unmarked trail on the north side of the river. Past the bridge and down the valley on the south side of Hetteåe, before the river is crossed on sommerbru southwest of Havfosstjønne. Further along the north side of Havfosstjønne, over Kosadalsåe and along the north side of Marten. Past the path splits to Rauhelleren and over Skjorteåe on sommerbru. From ca. 600 m to the cabin. "
Day 3 (Wednesday)

Hike description:
"First along Kalhovd Fjord and looked up to King Tjønn. Over the stream from Kongstjørn the path splits with unmarked route on Sprogshaugen. This route was previously marked, but waded across the lake Butjønna are often under water so T-route now takes westward and looked over Butjørnåi as steingås. Further to the southwest up in Skard south of little Geitebuhovda and down to Nusstjønn, where the creek crossed the UTOS. So westward along Vier lake and Stordalsloni and in Søre Stordalen to Stordalsbu."
Day 4 (Thursday)
Hike from Stordalsbu to Mogen, approx 5 hours

Hike description:
"Over the brook and southwards up Søre Stordalen. On the plateau revolves route to the west on the north side of Steinbufjellet and down to Sletteåi. On sommerbru across the river at the mouth of Vråsjåen and south and then to the southwest of Vråsjånutane and up to Torstjørni who passed on the south side. Furthermore, the same parameter is down Briskeslekja and the brisket Pelvic to slope towards MØSVATN. Quite steep down skogslia and into the road about 500 m east of Mogen tourist cabin. "
Optional:
- Return to starting point (Skinnarbu) by boat, departure 11:10 or 15:00
- Stay the night and return the next day
