Berry to Bean w/ ROEST

Are you curious about the process of making coffee? What is a green coffee bean? What is the journey of the berry from the coffee tree to your morning coffee cup? ROEST Coffee and Trevarefabrikken invite you to explore the process of creating quality coffee. In 2 hours, we take you through the journey from coffee berry to dried coffee bean, roasted coffee bean and eventually liquid coffee. It is an exclusive, one time event, where you get to interact with green coffee beans that has been exposed to different drying processes, see a live roasting on a Norwegian produced, electric coffee roaster (ROEST L100 Plus) and finally – be part of a cupping session where we taste multiple coffees from around the world. This introduction course to understanding coffee roasting and tasting is held by: Siebe van Rijsbergen, former roaster and barista from Rotterdam, Guro Handeland, designer at ROEST Coffee, and Guy van Rijsbergen, barista and cafe manager at Trevarefabrikken. Every participant will get their own cupping spoon from ROEST Coffee, and a printed Coffee Flavor Wheel.
