NO:

Since the summer of 2020, Alwynne Pritchard and Eva Pfitzenmaier have each gone their separate ways - in Bergen municipality. On the trips, they have collected objects and sounds, and written letters to each other about their experiences. In Gåologi, the threads are gathered - in the living rooms of people's homes, in public places and landscapes, around Bergen municipality.Geology comes in several versions and events, a diverse history of walks, discoveries and reinterpretations.Through poetry and music, fictional urban landscapes, sound recordings and films, notions are drawn up about what it means to walk through a Norwegian city and its surroundings in the age of the car.Geology is also an invitation to ask questions about how we make our cities - and what it means to us when we return home.

IN:

Since June 2020, Alwynne Pritchard and Eva Pfitzenmaier have each been walking the streets of Bergen municipality, collecting objects and sounds along the way and writing letters to each other about their experiences.

Gåologi, the culmination of this process, is a story of walking, discovering and reimagining, which will be created in people's living rooms. Poetic storytelling and music, fictional cityscapes, field recordings and film paint a picture of what it means to walk through a Norwegian city and its surroundings in the age of the automobile. Gåologi is also an invitation to ask questions about how we design, inhabit and move through the city and what this means for us when we return home.

All performances are free, but due to limited capacity, tickets much be reserved beforehand. Children under 12 do not need their own ticket, but please let us know if you bring any children.
