Stefan Murphy // Kafé Hærverk

Stefan Murphy was born in Dublin Ireland. He has been writing songs and releasing records since 2006. To date he has done this under two different collaborative guises [The Mighty Stef & Count Vaseline] but the autumn of 2023 will see the release of his very first SOLO record under his given name. Murphy has been living in the US since 2016. Mostly from the southern mecca of Atlanta. However, It was a post COVID relocation to Nashville that helped provide him with the inspiration and infrastructure to relaunch himself as a working artist. He works with a small label there called Sweet Time Records. Late 2023 seen a return to his native city of Dublin Ireland and the beginning of a lot of touring in Europe - His link to Nashville will remain intact due to his role as frontman in US Powerpop / Garage Punk band 'The Sleeveens' whose debut album came out in early 2024 and has been doing very well on US radio. - Murphy usually includes a half dozen Sleeveens tracks since most of them began life as part of his solo live set
