A Concert of Favourites - Old & New

Introducing Nottingham Symphony Orchestra's new Music Director Mark Prescott, and acclaimed pianist Simon Callaghan, NSO starts the 2024-25 concert season with a Programme of Favourites - Old & New.

Aleksandr Borodin - Overture to Prince Igor Sergei Rachmaninov - Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor Florence Price - Symphony No. 1 in E minor

Tickets are £18 (General Admission), £15 (Concessions - Age 60+), £6 (children and students) and £36 for a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children). There is an automatic 10% discount applied at checkout for purchases of 4 or more general admission/concession tickets in a single transaction.

This is the first time NSO will be performing a composition by Black American composer Florence Price (1887-1953). Her 1st symphony was composed in 1931-32.
