Sister Act is the feel-good, smash hit comedy musical based on the popular 1992 film that has audiences jumping to their feet!

Deloris Van Cartier is an aspiring singer in Philadelphia, USA, where she is auditioning to perform at her gangster boyfriend Curtis’s nightclub. Deloris believes that Curtis is going to introduce her to a big producer and is upset when he tells her she is not ready. Hurt and rejected, Deloris decides to break up with him, however, when she goes to find him to deliver the news, she inadvertently witnesses him committing a murder!

Deloris runs to the police who place her in protective custody until Curtis is brought to trial, in the one place they’re sure she won’t be found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, Deloris finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. However, once she is introduced to the struggling choir at the convent, everything takes a turn for the better as she soon discovers friendship can be found in the most unlikely of places.

Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover. Soon, as the gang is giving chase, they find themselves up against Deloris and the might of her newly found sisterhood.
