Swiss drummer Florian Arbenz always impresses Watermill Jazz audiences with his Vein Trio, but not only is he a brilliant percussionist, he is also a composer with a keen sense for combining musicians and instruments in exciting ways.

In his latest project, Florian turns his attention to the musical connections formed during his frequent visits to the UK. The result is a wild and exhilarating blend of top UK musicians from various generations, and music that oscillates between deep grooves, thrilling improvisations and lyrical sections.

Tonight’s lineup features rising star vocalist Immy Churchill. The band does not have a bass player, but Jim Hart and Ivo Neame share the bass role, adding colour and unpredictability to the music in a true embodiment of the jazz spirit!
