Arran International Festival of Chamber Music and Song

The 2nd Arran International Festival of Chamber Music and Song will take place from 18th to 24th August 2025, celebrating Arrans unique natural and cultural heritage through a vibrant programme of music and arts. Our mission is to bring renowned international artists to the island, highlight local musical talent, and actively engage the community in the creative process. At the heart of our festival is connection: fostering cultural exchange, supporting both emerging and established musicians, and encouraging creative collaboration across genres and generations. A core objective is to showcase new work and to bring together the finest artists from classical and traditional genres, celebrating musical fusion and breaking down barriers between artistic worlds. We believe in the unifying power of music and art, particularly in todays increasingly divided world. Our founding ethos, getting across borders, inspires us to build community and break down boundaries through shared creativity. We are committed to making high-quality cultural experiences accessible to all of Arrans communities. Ultimately, we aim to reach every village on the island. In 2025, we are taking a significant step towards this goal by adding four new venues in three more villages, ensuring broader community engagement and cultural inclusion. The programme will be announced at the end of March.
