At some point in our lives, we all wonder about the meaning of life. Johnny, a burnt-out foreign correspondent, haunted by all he has seen, wrestles with this question as he encounters people and stories from his past, not knowing how to carry them into his future.
'Seasons' is an extraordinary immersive supper performance in three short acts with interludes for food and drink. Created and performed by the community of St Paul’s Church, Cambridge, its choir and musicians, 'Seasons' is a response to the famous text Ecclesiastes 3.1-8 - ‘for everything there is a season’. The themes and questions it encompasses were developed in a series of community workshops over the past nine months and the result is an encouragement to live our way through life’s questions.
Ticket price includes performance, food and table seating for the evening.
'Seasons' has been drawn together by a number of contributors from the community of St Paul's. The creative workshops, through which the material has taken shape, have been led and facilitated by Becky Applin Warner (theatre composer and curate of St Paul’s).
