Bill Jones'Renaissance Swing Band

Bill Jones brings his Renaiisance Swing Band for their first vist to Linlithgow Jazz. Bill has assembled a fine team of swinging musicians, many of whom are regular players here. Bill (trombone) will be joined by the inimitable Martin Foster on reeds and the sweet fluent lyricism of Mike Daly on cornet, with Campbell Normand (piano) and Roy Percy (bass) underpinning the swinging horns with drive and panache. Expect the sounds of Basie and Goodman and classic musical interplay between a fine group of players.
