Brahms'Requiem

Come and hear an intimate performance of Brahms’ ‘Requiem for humanity’ (as he once described it). Polymnia chamber choir, with Craig Greene, will take you on an emotional journey from tender, heartfelt moments to power and glory. Jessica Norton will sing a beautiful Mahler song, describing the poet’s withdrawal from the turmoil of the word to seek internal solace in his own ‘quiet realm’. We commemorate Remembrance Day with Elgar’s wonderful setting of ‘They shall not grow old’.
