Candlelit Tour of Arbeia

As dusk settles and darkness falls; Arbeia Roman Fort, once the guard to the river Tyne entrance, welcomes visitors to hear tales of its past.

The celestial candlelit tours are the perfect way to step back, enjoy and reflect at this special time of year. The experience includes an introduction from the museum Curator, Q&A session, free time to explore the reconstructed areas at the Commanding Officers House and light refreshments including hot drinks and biscuits for you to enjoy.
