Club Special - Supporting Trudi Warner

A benefit: Compered by Robb Johnson with The Kimberleys and Steve White & the Protest Family plus surprises

One of our regulars at Walthamstow, Trudi Warner, achieved some notoriety when she was arrested outside the High Court carrying a sign that did nothing more than reiterate the statement which is displayed in stone inside the Old Bailey.

She faced two years in prison for this but the judge at her recent trial accused government lawyers of mischaracterising the evidence against her and dismissed the fanciful prosecution. THEN Trudi was told that the Solicitor General was appealing this decision and the saga would continue.
