Join us for a hands-on cookery class at Aboyne Academy Home Economics Department. You will learn to cook two authentic homestyle dishes from the Sri Lankan highlands: Uru Mas Curry, a country style pork curry with goraka and pandan leaf; and a seasonal vegetable curry with coconut milk. We’ll also demonstrate how to make hoppers, rice flour pancakes.
No prior knowledge is required just bring yourself, an apron and some containers to take home your delicious creations. Everyone will have their own workstation and set of ingredients. We will guide you through the cooking process by cooking alongside you with a live video feed to keep you on track.
Places are strictly limited and must be paid in advance. Tickets are £55 per person. This course is not suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
We cannot offer a refund should you be unable to come on the day however tickets are transferable so you can pass them on to a friend.
