Dance-a-Story

In collaboration with the Library, where you can pull up a cushion, you can listen and interact with a winter story.

Lauren Pomfret is a community dance teacher and enjoys allowing everyone to explore the world through movement and play. Lauren has worked for many art organisations in the South West, including the Theatre Royal Plymouth, Dance in Devon and Far Flung CIC, where she has worked with anyone from all ways of life. Lauren will be running two dance-a-story workshops focusing on how a story can bring creative play, dance and games, which will allow the young learners to develop imagination and curiosity. The two workshops will focus on two different winter stories inspired by mystery and exploration.

This workshop is aimed at children aged 2-5 years. Children must be accompanied by their grown-up at all times.
