Dance Celebration Day - Upside Down in a Hoop - Tricia Durdey

All Join In! Wirksworth Festival's Dance Celebration Day has a wonderful array of workshops and performances throughout the town for people of all ages and dance interests. It is a fantastic, diverse, jam-packed day designed for you to join in, explore, and enjoy - a day to come together and celebrate dance as a joyous community activity.

For children and young people to participate in there's Creative Contemporary Dance, Maypole, and Street Dance; for adults (over 16yrs) there's Dance for Wellbeing and Creativity, Clog Dance, Capoeira, Burlesque and Salsa. Performances for all to enjoy include Tricia Durdey's Upside Down In A Hoop, Jose Oliva's Feel It and Dance, The T'Owd Man, Well Heeled Appalachian Dance, and the Community Dance Platform including artists from Hubbub.
