We are “The Mayor’s Guides” .... join us on a 90 minute guided tour of this Lincolnshire gem! We will deliver an entertaining and informative narration of the architecture, characters and legends of one of the finest stone towns in England. Stamford has preserved a multitude of Georgian buildings built on a medieval base with Tudor and Victorian interludes. The town has a vibrant history, much of which is still visible in the 600 listed buildings and monuments.

Our aim is to share our enthusiasm for our beautiful town while keeping guests and residents safe. We look forward to seeing you to bring alive the story of Stamford with tales of Georgian elegance, dubious politics, tragic romance and much more!
