ire Guitar Duo is a dynamic classical duo dedicated to expanding the classical guitar duo repertoire. Oscar Montague and Santiago Kodela joined forces after studying at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, where they specialized in classical guitar. Through innovative commissions, captivating recordings, and electrifying live performances, they have since brought exciting contemporary classical guitar music to audiences across the globe. The duo pushes the boundaries of traditional classical guitar while also honouring its rich history, through a commitment to collaborating with established and emerging composers in the creation of fresh, unique works that challenge and inspire.

The Classical Guitar Society of Northern Ireland

CGSNI aims to promote the classical guitar and its music. The Society meets once a month in the Ulster College of Music, and is open to players of all ages and abilities as well as those who simply have an interest in the classical guitar. The Society Ensemble will be playing a broad range of pieces, from early Baroque music to Irish pieces by O'Carolan, as well as music from film. There will also be duet and solo performances including works by Sergio Assad and Egberto Gismonti.
