Errollyn Wallen in concert and conversation

Errollyn Wallen is a multi-award-winning Belize-born British composer, performer and singer-songwriter. She is one of the top 20 most performed living composers in the world and her output includes 20 operas and numerous orchestral, chamber and vocal works which are performed and broadcast world-wide. She is as respected as a singer-songwriter of pop and jazz-influenced songs as she is as a composer of classical music. She was the first woman to receive an Ivor Novello Award for her work and in 2024 she was appointed Master of the Kings Music.

Errollyn will perform piano pieces and songs from the Errollyn Wallen Songbook and talk about her life and her work in classical, jazz and pop music and her move, last year, to Orkney. Copies of her book, Becoming a Composer , will be available.
