Award winning tenor Daniel Thomson and Sam Brown, the Eric Clapton of the lute, present Facets of Time, a dramatic performance based around Elizabethen Englands most iconic artists, William Shakespeare and John Dowland. Time was for the renaissance a central fascination: this performance sees Old Time evoked in songs of love and stoicism, nightmarishly scrambled by Macbeth, and vanquished by Elizabeth I.

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Daniel Thomson is a graduate of Basels Schola Cantorum, known for his expressive text based performance. He performs widely with major groups across the UK, Europe and Australia. daniel-thomson.com
