International storyteller, Clive PiG, invites you to share some tasty tales from Devon. He’ll be serving up appetising stories about cream teas and cider, potatoes and pasties, and many other culinary delights from the West Country. If you want to know why some people sing to apple trees, wondered why seafarers loved silver spoons, or had your chips nicked by seagulls, then Clive has a story, a song or a poem all about it. The menu is different for each of the four sessions so you can pick ‘n mix until you’ve had your fill. Fun for all the family! Clive PiG is a storyteller, poet and potato juggler. His dynamic delivery of traditional and original tales appeals to young and old, making him a popular performer in the UK and beyond. This travelling talesman has sung songs on TV in New York City, shared stories in Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan, and spouted poetry at Number 10 Downing Street. Clive’s storytelling is theatrical and interactive, combining music and song, rhythm and rhyme. His dramatic performance style is captured perfectly in his three illustrated books of original stories and comic poems – The Adventures of Mister Storyfella https://www.clivepig.co.uk/product/the-adventures-of-mister-storyfella/ Jurassic Cove http://www.clivepig.co.uk/product/jurassic-cove/ and Unicorn in the Playground http://www.clivepig.co.uk/product/unicorn-in-the-playground/ “He doesn’t just tell the story, he lives the story.” – Emma Cordy, Stage Manager, Big Top, Kidz Field, Glastonbury Festival. www.clivepig.co.uk
