Free Taster Workshop with National Youth Jazz Collective

Join the National Youth Jazz Collective for a FREE taster workshop this Easter! The taster workshop is open to musicians of all standards aged 8-17, and all instruments and vocalists are welcome. This is the perfect opportunity to meet and connect with other young creatives with similar interests and talents.

We help you build confidence as an improvisor, composer and bandleader; compose and improvise new musical ideas; play melodies, grooves, hooky bass lines and riffs without notation; explore the most popular rhythms used in jazz, funk, Indian, folk, pop and rock music; become a stronger, more interactive band member; recognise the chords and structures in music you enjoy.
