York Festival of Ideas presents: La Diva de la Guitarra - Galina Vale returns. Internationally-acclaimed guitar virtuoso Galina Vale returns to St Helens Church for a fifth time. Her individualistic performances combine a charismatic stage presence in costume and a dynamic powerful playing style with an unusually wide ranging and technically demanding repertoire. Praised in reviews for her "deep fiery performance" and exuberant style, critics have styled her "La Diva de la Guitarra".
