GESTURES by Rosie Morris

Rosie Morris is interested in the ways we interact through touch, and parallels between the gestures of care in our relationships and in making and tending to an artwork.

Working in photography and sculpture, Rosie creates womb-like den spaces, and direct prints of aluminium ‘casts’ on aluminium, exploring the body as a site, and emotions relating to ‘daughtering’, memory and loss.

To coincide with the exhibition, Rosie is releasing a limited edition direct print on aluminium with Hardcopy, and text by Roxanna Watson.
