Handel's MESSIAH

Christmas Music from Handel's great Oratorio 'Messiah' performed by Trowbridge Philharmonic Choir, soloists, organ, trumpet and drums. Includes 'Hallelujah Chorus' and finale 'Worthy is the Lamb' and 'Amen figue'. Also in the programme is the sublime 'O Magnum Mysterium' by Morton Laurisden, 'Then Shall a Star' by Mendelssohn and a medley of popular Christmas Carols. Mulled wine and mince pies will feature in the interval and the audience will be invited to join in the final carol Adeste Fidelis (O Come all ye Faithful). The event is directed by Graham Dalby.
