A mere week after Easter Sunday, Keswick Hall Choir will present a programme of music tracing the journey through Holy Week to the triumph of Easter. The choir will be joined by a small string ensemble to present a pairing of Stabat Maters, a Mozart mass, and a most rousing Easter piece by French composer Charles-Marie Widor for two organs. Choral enthusiasts will be familiar with the beloved Stabat Mater of Pergolesi, but perhaps less familiar with the same work by Scarlatti written for ten voices!
