Jack-Austin Despy Blues Band with Tom Davies & The Bluebirds

Two of the young and upcoming bands in the UK Jack-Austin Despy hails from Essex and Tom Davies from Hampshire Jack has played at the Rory Gallagher Festival UK in (Nantwich) 2021 along side Barry Barnes, and in 2022 was invited to open the show and was rubbing shoulders with John Angus Blues Band- The Rory Story, James Oliver Band., Jim Kirkpatrick Band, SandraiseR, Aiden Pryor Band , The G Men, Jed Thomas Band, Tom Killner Band and Innes Sibun. In 2025 the band will play at the UK Rhythm & Rock Festival, Blackpool and return to the Rory Gallagher Festival UK (Nantwich) stage along with the Dom Martin Band and some of the aforementioned bands.

Tom is the driving force behind the band. Don’t be fooled by his youth. He has a deep knowledge and profound love of the blues which he brings into his playing and song writing. He is profoundly influenced by all of the Kings, Peter Green, Jimi Hendrix, Gary Moore, Eric Clapton, Robben Ford, SRV, Eric Johnson and, well, you know it, the list just goes on.
