Jay Phelps Kind of Blue Quintet

Canadian trumpet player Jay Phelps has curated this exceptional show which brings together the best music from US jazz icon Miles Davis from 1958 and 1959.

In 1958 Davis released an album called ’58 Miles , which set the stage for the birth of one of the world’s greatest jazz albums the following year: Kind of Blue . Both albums defined a ground-breaking approach to the art of improvisation.
