Jolene (a Country And Western Clubnight) At The Bees Mouth, Brighton

Hold onto your hats for Jolene, a country and western clubnight playing the outlaws and the classics, the ballads and the beauties at the beautiful Bees Mouth in saloon-swinging Brighton.

It's a night for sitting around with a whiskey (double) under candlelight, looking at the stars through the bottom of a glass, talking about the time Merle Haggard saw Johnny Cash play his Folsom Prison set as a prisoner with stripes around his shoulders, singing every word and shooting it up on the ol' dancefloor.

We play everything from The Carter Family to Cash, Dolly Parton to Neko Case, Hank Williams to Lucinda Williams, Kitty Wells to Glen Campbell, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys to Townes Van Zandt, anything with a sweet pedal steel guitar and drunken fiddle swing, and the ballad of your broken dreams.

The Bees Mouth is our old saloon, suitably based where the tumbleweeds blow down Western Road (or is that a lock of Willie Nelson's hair). Advance tickets for cowboys, cowgirls and all can be found below. They are LIMITED TO 50, so grab one if you can.
