Laughing George Comedy Night

Come on down and enjoy a evening of laughter at our monthly cozy comedy club based at the first floor function room of the 15th Century George Inn.

Now in our 7th year, our 2.5 hour pro comedy club show features some of the best professional acts and newcomer comedic talent from London and beyond. The longest running and best bijou comedy club on the south coast between Portsmouth and Brighton!

A full bar is available downstairs to help you enjoy your evening.

• Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event

Minimum age 18.

• What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event

There is a small car park at the venue, and bus services very nearby.

• Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event

No we have a printed list, we just need to check off your name.

• Is the venue wheelchair accessible Unfortunately due to the age of the building the upstairs function room can only be reached by a flight of stairs and there is no lift, apologies.

• Is food available

If you wish to book a table for food at the bar/restaurant downstairs to eat before the show please call 01243 824177. Food is available all day so arrive as early as you like!
