Pianist, composer and BBC broadcaster David Owen Norris gives a presentation on the struggles Elgar had with composing his piano concerto. The evening is followed by his arrangement for piano solo. David is an acknowledged expert on Elgar, having recorded all his keyboard works and worked with Anthony Payne on his famous version of the 3rd Symphony 'elaborated from the sketches'
