Lowry Youth Dance Project

Calling young people aged 9-16 who love to move!

Take part in this inspiring dance project to develop your dance ability and unleash your artistic creativity. Experience how dancers train at Lowry. All genders and abilities welcome!

In this project you will...

• Learn from industry professionals whilst making friends and learning new styles of dance
• Receive bespoke workshops including performance and audition preparation skills
• Choreograph a curtain raiser to perform at the Lowry!

If you wish to perform at Lowry on 19th July, we suggest you attend all the project dates.

The audition preparation workshops mentioned, are held in advance of Lowry CAT auditions in June - Great for if you wish to audition or if you simply wish to upskill in performance!

Workshop detail:

• May 8th, 15th and 22nd:- Dance technique and devising skills

• June 5th, 12th, 19th - Performance skills and Audition preparation

• 26th June, 3rd and 10th July - Performance creation and rehearsal
