Debussy Piano Trio Bronius Kutavičius 8 miniatures of Stasys Brahms Piano Trio No 3 in C minor Op 101
Chiara Piano Trio
Both Brahms and Debussy’s piano trios are distinguished by the sheer beauty of their melodies. Brahms often saved his most intimate musical thoughts for his chamber music. The late C minor trio has a dark autumnal beauty. In contrast the Debussy sparkles with varying light and shade. A short work by Lithuanian composer Bronius Kutavičius completes the programme.
