Mariachi Las Adelitas (Quartet) + Imperio Bamba (Duo)

A very special Friday night at Jamboree with headliners Las Adelitas, a brilliant all-female Mariachi band, with support from the Imperio Bamba duo playing REBEL CHICHA, their original take on the exciting and traditional Peruvian chicha! This night is part of the Bloomsbury Festival... Mariachi Las Adelitas are the UKs only female Mariachi band, born out of the desire to shatter stereotypes within this traditionally male-dominated genre. They are favourites of Cerys Matthews (BBC Radio6/ Radio4), who interviewed them twice on the UKs most popular radio show, and premiered their versions of Back to Black (Huapango), El Toro Relajo in 2021 and Viva Mexico in 2022. They played at Womens Mariachi Festival in L.A, California in 2018 where they also played live on both Univision and Telemundo TV channels. They also count Salma Hayek amongst their fans, and played for her private birthday celebration in London. Hold onto your hats!
