Born to the sound of old jazz greats, such as Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James, and nourished by the soulful music of B.B.King through to Joss Stone, Green's sound is like a shimmering deja vu; there's a comforting familiarity in something completely new. 2024 is the year of Molly’s highly anticipated 8 track mixtape, in which she fully absorbs all the jazz and soul influences of her musical heritage. Her poetic lyricism delicately dissects the complicated experiences of greif, loneliness, self-acceptance and of course love, because who doesn’t love a love song! Reeling in support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, Earmilk, Unsigned Music Blog and Songbird HQ, there is no doubt that Molly is at the start of something very exciting. Her dynamic set at The Pheasantry will include all of her newest songs, along with some older favourites and some of her personal favourite jazz classics.
