Newcastle Festival of Jazz and Improvised Music 2024

With great pleasure we announce the 8th year of Newcastle Festival of Jazz and Improvised Music.

For 2024 the festival continues to respond to the city’s appetite for a contemporary grass roots jazz festival, presenting an innovative and diverse international line up, celebrating and pushing boundaries that challenge perceptions of jazz and improvised music.

Along with our regular concerts we'll be featuring film screenings, workshops and even a swimming session.

Alongside British and International UK based artists this year we’re delighted to be bringing musicians from Copenhagen, Holland, Switzerland, Japan and the USA.
