Patience

Enjoy an afternoon of Opera at St Peter's Church, Harborne, complete with an hour long interval to allow you to enjoy a picnic in the beautiful grounds of St Peter's Church, Harborne. Bring your own picnics and rugs and if you prefer a chair, they will be provided! If the weather is inclement you can enjoy your picnics in the Church Hall, the performance of Patience will be inside, in the main church. Patience is Gilbert and Sullivan’s extremely witty, infrequently performed little masterpiece about the Aesthetic Movement of the 1880s. Complete with willowy poets, sighing maidens, hearty milkmaids and burly officers, every tune is whistleable, every word worth hearing, and the humour is as fresh as it was at the first performance.
