Reduce – Reuse – Recycle Crochet Workshop with Karen Thomson

10.30am - 3.30pm Do You find yourself keeping pretty glass jars and wonder what you can do with them? Come along to this fun workshop and learn how to turn them into colourful tea light holders, vases, and storage jars with some simple crochet techniques. In this workshop you will have the opportunity to use different crochet stiches to make beautiful patterns to decorate your jars using yarn recycled from old clothes and plastic bottles. If you can crochet chains and trebles, then this workshop is for you. There will be lots of time for me to demonstrate and support you with new stitches, and for you to get creative and design your crochet items. A variety of glass jars will be available for you to choose from , however please bring along any you may like to use yourself and your favourite size 4 mm crochet hook is all you’ll need.
