Proudly from the beautiful North East of England, Emma's mother promoted jazz bands and her father was a charismatic raconteur. Emma was destined to perform in some way. She possesses a truly fabulous voice and uses it skilfully to move effortlessly between heart wrenching sweet soul licks and raw, real, powerful blues.

Emma's unique, tender vocals and gorgeous tone lend themselves beautifully to recordings with shades of early Aretha Franklin and hints of another of Emma's all time favourites, Ann Peebles.

Emma Wilson's incredible vocal talent and song writing were brought to the attention of an international audience with the 2022 release of her original ten track debut album 'Wish Her Well', winning the title of 'Emerging Blues Artist of the Year' at the UK Blues Awards in 2022. She describes the title track, which to date has reached hundreds of thousands of streams and plays worldwide, as her 'little hero' song.
