Salads no. 72 - Soho Place Theatre by AHMM

Soho Place consists of two new mixed-use buildings framing a new civic plaza, Soho Place - the first new street name in Soho for 72 years. The tour will focus on the south building No. 2/4 Soho Place, an eight-storey building of two parts. The lower volume contains the first new-build West End theatre to open in 50 years. It cantilevers over subterranean and OD Crossrail infrastructure - leading to very complex logistical and acoustic interfaces. Above the theatre lies 18,000 square feet of independent office space.

The tour will be led by project architect Lizi Cushen. Lizi worked at AHMM from 2010 - 2022, spending 8 years delivering Soho Place to completion for Derwent London and theatre operator, Nimax. Lizi is now Associate Director at White Red. She is passionate about mentoring, finding the fun in CPD and sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with others!
