Silkscreen Printing and Collage with Berkshire Printmakers

This is a relaxing and creative Silkscreen Printing and Collaging workshop for beginners and those with some printmaking experience.

Be inspired by collage artists ; Henri Matisse, Hannah Hoch, even Eric Carle! Spend a creative day learning to silkscreen print colourful patterns and textures to use in your own collages. Berkshire Printmakers will take you through step by step how to silkscreen print. They will then demonstrate how these can be incorporated into your own collaged art work.

As well as bringing a kaleidoscope of water based inks, 30 plus patterned screens, they will bring a selection of papers and magazines to print and collage together. Feel free to also bring your own papers, quotations, and resource pictures to inspire your collage.

Dress for mess and bring an A3 folder/portfolio to take work home.
