Detaljer
What better way to end this years Festival than with Chaucers classic, The Canterbury Tales, a collection of stories told by a group of pilgrims from all walks of life, as they journey from London to the shrine of Thomas Becket, in Canterbury Cathedral. Our Festival finale will be an updated recreation of the spectacle, bawdiness and humour of the fourteenth-century original. Once again in collaboration with the Music department, the Drama department will present the stories as a Tale-telling competition, with the audience invited to choose their winner. So come along, grab a tankard of ale and make merry. Its sure be a riot of an evening.
The Festival bar will be open in the marquee from 6.30pm and during the interval.
The Canterbury Tales is kindly sponsored by Burgess Hodgson [https://burgesshodgson.co.uk/]
