A 7-piece super-band with members from Egypt, Uzbekistan, France and the UK, Tashkezar's transcultural vibes and explosive fusion sound takes in powerful Mediterranean rhythms, mesmerising Arabic vocals and melodies, punchy Balkan horns and floor-shaking bass lines. Be ready to dance. Opa! Their latest record 'Ew'aa' combines Middle Eastern strings and percussion with funk bass, horns, and Cairo-born Mariam Ali's soaring vocals.
Also keeping the dancefloor moving on the night is DJ maestro Jamie Renton with his choice selection of global beats.
