The Alive + the Remains

This October, The Alive are pilling over from California to teach us the real meaning of Surf/Skate grunge, with influences ranging from Sabbath, Nirvana, Rush, to Idles.

Performances under their belts include BottleRock's main stage, Shaky Knees Atlanta, Wonderfront, Ohana Fest, Kelly Slater's Wave Ranch, Boardmasters, Aftershock, Louder than Life, Surfestival Chile with Jack Johnson & Bomba Stereo, WSL Pipeline Hawaii, and forever grateful to open Lollapalooza Chile 22's main stage for Foo Fighters.

Other highlights include support sets for Jimmy Eat World, The Hives, Taylor Hawkins's Chevy Metal, Bastian recently played with Dave Grohl & Shane Hawkins. Eddie Vedder also fronted the band at Ohana 22.

Named one of Stab Magazine's 30 Under 30 Culture Shifters of Tomorrow, The Alive has been featured in Whalebone Magazine, Surfline, Guitar Player, CNN, Fuel TV, ABC, NPR, etc.

The Alive are committed to ocean conservation and have played benefits for Surfrider Foundation, Surfers Against Sewage, Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, and Save the Waves to help protect our beaches and oceans.
