The Bee Friendly Skep Project

Through an exhibition of painted terracotta skeps (traditional beehives), the Bee Friendly Trust hopes to start fresh conversations about the importance of bees and pollinators, and the need to create spaces to protect and nurture them.

The Bee Friendly Trust invited five female artists (Sarah Hoyle, Hattie Gordon, Alice Baker, Esther Rushton, Lucy Caddel, and the award-winning TV presenter Maddie Moate) to paint a terracotta skep each.
