The Celtic Male Ensemble : charity concert

The majority of the proceeds of this Charity Concert will go to the Truro Foodbank, which has increasing demands for its service. The balance will go to the Rotary Club's Trust Fund ​and will be used to support local causes.

The Celtic Male Ensemble was formed in 2014 and sang the winning entry at the Cornwall International Male Choral Festival that year and again in 2016. They have twice won at the Camborne Music Festival and were winners of the Edgar Kessell Gold Cup for best overall choir at the Cornwall County Music Festival. They were voted best UK choir and best overall Cornish choir at the 2019 Cornwall International Male Choral Festival. Their Musical Director, Alastair Taylor, is renowned locally and nationally for his choral work.
