The John Weaver Festival Dance Showcase

John Weaver, Old Salopian, is often credited as the Father of English ballet. Shrewsbury School’s annual Dance Showcase celebrates dance in all forms and at all levels. Boys and girls from all year groups perform a range of pieces in ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz and commercial dance. The festival weekend also includes our annual Dance competition – schools or individuals wishing to enter should contact our Head of Dance, Sian Stanhope (sstanhope@shrewsbury.org.uk).
