Following their sold out presentation of Horace Andy and Johnny Osbourne in March 2024, The London Intl Ska Festival now return to Brighton Komedia with two more reggae legends Jackie Robinson and George Dekker, who are globally, and more commonly know as, The Pioneers. Through an incredible seven decades of releasing music and touring they have established themselves as one of the most popular reggae vocal groups in the world! They have given us countless dance floor classics including the hits; Long Shot Kick De Bucket, Time Hard, and Jackpot, (covered by 2 Tone Records bands The Specials, The Selecter and The Beat respectively), Papa Was A Rolling Stone, Starvation, Give Me A Little Love, Reggae Fever and their Top 5 UK chart hit - Let Your Yeah Be Yeah! The Pioneers, with Jackie and Georges exemplary vocal harmonies, never fail to deliver a sensational show. We are honoured to be presenting what is rumoured to be their first show in Brighton!
