The most beautiful closed road sportive in the UK returns on the same stunning route as in 2023, starting and finishing in Peebles in the Scottish Borders. Choose from the Full 120km or Challenge 88km options.

The 120km route will take in the Devil’s Beeftub, Moffat Dale and Grey Mare’s Tail. Even the short version includes the epic Talla climb and Megget traverse, but either route showcases some of the best road cycling in the UK.

With mile after mile of spectacular scenery, on some of the best road cycling terrain in Scotland, it’s a genuinely a wonderful day out on the bike!

Both routes will travel mainly over quiet back roads, and climb several stiff hills along the way. Challenging but rewarding, the rides feature some amazing natural scenery – what better way to take your mind off your efforts than by enjoying this beautiful part of Scotland!

Enjoy great feed stations on the route with a variety of locally-made treats, including some fantastic cake and delicious macaroni pies, the best electronic chip timing system - rider times texted to you soon after finish - and receive an official souvenir medal for all finishers back at the buzzing event village.
