Transylvanian Ceilidh

Join us for this energetic participatory event showcasing the best in Roma music and dance. You'll be dancing to exciting music played by top Roma musicians, and will be expertly guided through a range of steps and dances by our charismatic Transylvanian dance caller. The Transylvanian Ceilidh, which brings participants right into the heart of Roma culture here in Scotland, have been performing widely across Scotland and beyond at prestigious festivals such as Celtic Connections, as well as in prominent venues in Glasgow, Aberdeen, and many more.

The Transylvanian Ceilidh is an Ando Glaso production. Ando Glaso was established informally in 2016 to encourage greater understanding and participation in the cultural heritage of the Roma people in Scotland aiming at stimulating and advancing community cohesion that is built on respect for celebrating diverse cultural identities.
